Looking to replace the cabin air filters on my Sports.

I see Micro-Guard for $7.99, Wix for $8.99 and Purolator for $14.49.

Is any cabin filter better than another?? :smiler:

I'm sure the particle capture efficiency is different at a very minimal level. Not as critical as a good engine air filter.

I'd personally get the Wix filter.

I ordered the Wix one from Amazon recently. Good price, good quality.

Plus vote for WIX filters. Based on cellulose fibres or synthetic fibres, the modern filter media used in WIX filters air filters ensure 99.9% filtration efficiency for particles of just a few microns in size. They have a polyurethane mixture that is known for its unique elasticity and resistance to compress at extremely high temperatures. And these filters protect passengers from a fire in the event of the air-supply system’s sucking in, e.g. ignition source. For me, safety and cleanliness in the car are very important. So I try to keep an eye on it. For example, the ozone generator helps me keep my car clean. Damage Control of Orlando has a great article if you want to learn more about it.
