I got my new Fusion March 1st and I have been having a blast with it. I love the manual transmission and the gas milage. I love the looks I get from other people. With the grill being all chrome I think people don't realize that it is a Ford and think it is something more expensive. I am new to the site and would like to say HI.

My interior is the light stone....a little light for my taste but okay. I have the SEL with a moonroof....the only 5 speed on the lot....have you figured out how to fold the front passenger seatback flat? I read the owners manual but still can't get it to fold. According to the Fusion buyers guide this is supposed to be standard on SE and SEL models.

I have never tried to fold it flat. I might have to check it out today. It is a fun little car isn't it?

I know the gas will be nice. I went from filling up once every 4 days to once every week and a half.

:DThat cobalt type blue is very nice looking on the Fusion. I have seen 3 Fusions with this color and they really stand out in a crowd..

The color is one of the selling points for me. I love it.

There are buttons in the trunk that, when pushed, will spring the back seats flat.
I, too, have the blue w/ camel colored interior SE 5-speed. I have had it about 2 months now and have about 2500 miles already. I got some decent looking seat covers at Advance Auto Parts, the middle is the same camel color and sides are black. I would have preferred blue/camel but couldn't find them. I was afraid that the camel would dirty fast so I covered them immediately. The car has been fun to drive and am looking at different modifications available now. Any suggestions anyone?

About the front passenger seat folding down.....it all depends on when your car was built. As far as I know any 07 fusions built before labor day have the exact same specs as an 06 fusion, except for the fact that they come with some standard options that existed in the 06 but you had to pay for them.

Starting on Labor day they added some new features such as the mp3 audio input and the folding passenger seat. If you got your Fusion at a dealer, it very well may have been built before labor day. I told my dealer specifically to make sure my car was built on or after labor day. I was built that week and just came in and I'm going to get it tomorrow.

Odds are, if you don't have the mp3 audio input on the front of yoru stereo, then you won't have the fold down passenger seat.
