I not sure if this is the most correct forum, but here goes...

I was looking at my father's 500 Limited today and he mentioned that he has a separate switch below the radio to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit. From looking at the SEL's message centre, it looks as though the only way to get Fahrenheit is to go with all English units, which I don't want. Has anyone been able to get the external temp to read in F while keeping the rest of the message centre in metric?

Living in a border town, and getting my weather from the US all my life has made me a "pawn" of fahrenheit.

as an aside I'm only getting a measley 14.6 mpg. Granted there's only 600km on the car and I've only filled it up once ($58 CDN - that's a big tank).

Kick the air pressure up and drive with a light foot and once the car cools down, raise the temp, a little bit on the air cond. 8)

The only way is to change the whole entire car to the C or F readings. I messed around with that before, as well.
