Sounds interesting but I'm not going to screw with the engine until I'm out of warranty, which by the way I'm driving will be next year at this time. I may do the timing advance mod next time I change my oil. All you do is loosen the crank sensor and move it down.

Just buy an XC2 from Bob like I did. You know you want to! The only reason the Mazda guys advance their timing is because they do not yet have access to custom programming options for their ECU. For some reason, the Mazda boxes are locked down tight, unlike our Ford computers which happily take commands from tuning devices. You'll love your car so much with a good tune you won't believe you lived this long without it.
