Seems like a no brainer.

I've never had a car or motorcycle with a coolant line plumbed thru the TBs or Carbs and have never had ANY sort of icing problem. I think this factory setup is for extreme cases where short trips are taken in heavy rain right with temps right around freezing.

Mine has been by-passed for some time now on my 3.0L 500. I don't see / feel a difference but in Houston it never gets cold anyways. You can see in the picture below the throttle body. I just re-routed the lines so that it by-passed the throttle body. Easy and reversible.
