Hi Fusion owners out there,
I'm perplexed about a noise that my i-4 is making :?When I drive over a speed bump(I live on a street that has them)or hit say a small pothole or a ruff patch of asphault I hear a noise in the rear of the car that sounds like the carjack is loose and "bouncing "around in the trunk!. Has anyone else had this symptom?.I've taken the car to the dealer about it and they said it is a natural :shockcommon) noise that this car makes!!.I drove 2 other fusions(i-4,v6)and the i-4 that I test drove made the same  :shock: :?noise.I also heard it in the v6 but not as pronounced as the i-4.

I have never heard any noises in the back of mine. (SEL V6) I live in PA and the roads are pretty bad.

yes my fusion makes that noise i believe its coming from the trunk lid on the right side. if i lift up and down on the right edge of the trunck lid while its closed, there is some play and a clunking noise that the left side does not have.

No noise in the rear of my V6 but the defrost vent in the front pops constantly. Just about anything from a pot hole to a low spot in the road to just touching it- and it will make the popping sound. Unlike the rest of the dash, the vent is made of very hard, flimsy plastic.

my defrost pops to but only when defrost is on or if i turn it off and the vents cool down, it pisses me off along with other little noises
