I've been thinking about tweaking my subframe to attack my almost imperceptible but nonetheless annoying left pull. I've actually done alignments myself with gauges and turning plates, but never shifted a subframe. This link: http://www.finishlineperformance.com/mazda6/docs/0053.pdf to a Mazda6 service bulletin starts out discussing some other strut mount issue, but then progresses to the factory +/- 0.4 deg. a-arm replacement that also applies to the Fusion, and then ends with a tweak that involves not the subframe itself, but loosening the lower arm bolts and jouncing the car while holding the steering wheel at full lock. Has anybody ever done this? Any comparison to a subframe shift? Is this different from a subframe shift, and if so, how? This looks like something that anybody could do themselves. I'd appreciate any comments.
