I'm assuming we can talk about the a/c controls in here...
Does anyone elses A/C take forever to come on after you start your car? Mine takes a minimum 30 seconds or more.
Is this something I can have fixed?
If not, it's definatly one more reason to get remote start.

It will take a couple of seconds to run the R-134a freon from the clutch (compressor) to condenser, metering device, and then to the evaporator. This process takes seconds, but to cool the evaporator it will take a couple of cycles to have heat removal using the a/c system. In other words it will take 15-20 seconds for any vehicle a/c, home central unit to cool a area down to 70-72-degrees. And this dry heat we are having in the SouthWest ain't helping a bit. 97 today in Los Angeles. I heard you guys in AZ and south NV had 3-digits. My GOD the pain. :D

It takes 15 - 20 seconds for the A/C to kick on after I have started the car (SEL V-6), I assumed it was the auto climate control getting the sensor data and figuring out what it should do. I will have to try it in manual mode.
