Over the past few days I've noticed my A/C was'nt blowing as cold. At first I thought it was because of the heat but now it's blowing hot. I used an A/C thermometer and with the climate control at set at 60 I measured 76 degrees! 12,000 miles and the A/C is messed up? Fuckin Ford. I'll be taking it in to the dealer this week to see what happened. Will post with update.

Well I finally took the car to the dealer today. A defective condenser leaked all the freon out. Of course, no condenser in stock so I should have it back tomarrow afternoon. From what the service adivsor told me quite a few of Fusions, 500s and Foci have had this problem.

Picked up the car yesterday, the condenser was replaced and got a fresh charge of freon. AC was blowing nice and cold....for the day. Today about noon it was, and still is, blowing hot!! Got an appointment for monday. We'll see what they say this time.

been there done that. Tell em to check for Blockage in the line or better yet, tell them to blow out the line. If it helps, tell you service rep to give Kimnack Ford in Norfolk, VA a call. They are very well "versed" in this problem having my car in thier shop for almost a month....

What ended up being the final solution to your problem?

a coupled of Clutches, compressors, dryers, AC fuses, and 29 days later they found "Blockage" in the line. Blew it out, recharged it, and it has been working fine ever since.
