Thats how I am reading it. I would double check with your dealership just to make sure.

once again id ask your dealer but your warrenty is a 5 year 50k mile one, which did come at a premium that ford snuck in. i bought my car on july 10th and was pissed so the finance guy had to go over it with me

I bought my SEL V6 Fusion in May. If I have any issues, I'm sure if I scream loud enough I'll get the isssue covered. I have a long list of Ford products I have bought over the years.. 8)

I took delivery of my car and signed the papers on July 19th. I was told I was covered by this, with the 100 deductible. I have no documentation for this, I was told it would show up when a dealer pulled my vin number for service. If I'd purchased mine within 90 days of July 14th, I'd be really hot and would stomp up and down if it came down to it. It's a good thing for Ford to stand behind their product, but you really run the risk of majorly ticking off your customers who bought earlier.

This too irritates me. I bought mine in November and then halfway through the model year they extend the warranty.

So far no troubles though.

in doing the math, as I understand it.... basically what you are buying is a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty with $100 deductible. The 5 -year ESP does not start after the 3/36 warranty ends, which I assumed.... Am I reading too much into this??

once again i bought my car within 4 days of this, i also bought my own 5 year warrenty with 2 year preimium care and the gap insurance (i bought a new car to give me 0 issues so hence the choice of extras) anyways when i heard that the warrenty was extended, when ford sent me the survery of my car buying expirence i mentioned this. within days of sending that i had my finance guy on the phone callin me trying to tell me whats going on and calm me down (of course i went to ford) so anyways, as of july 14th some of the rebates i got were slashed. and people paid more for there cars.

ford didnt just give away warrentys they took money that was for a rebate and put it towards a warrenty, so yeah
