I am a neat freak with my Fusion SEL V6. I use Meguires for the leather to clean and condition about once a week. Use Mequires on the interior plastics also. I wash the car once a week with Maguuires car soaps, I vacuum once a week. For those with the black leather interior, I highly recommend you get your windows tinted. I had to. It was too hot!! Huge difference in interior temp and besides.. Looks smooth and sharp... 8). Detail tires/wheels too....

I'm just like you with my black SEL I4. I don't clean/condition the leather every week though...about once a month I do. But their leather cleaner and conditioner works great as does their quik interior detailer. I have been thinking about getting my Fusion's windows tinted, but New Jersey has it that you can't have the windshield or front windows with any tint in them. So I'm not too sure how it would look with just the back tinted. Do you have any pics that you can share?

8)Oh yeah, I have pics..http://www.carspace.com/scape2. I would do the tinting if I were in your shoes. Sounds like you can do the back window and the two side windows. This will help with the heat greatly. Many factory cars/trucks already come this way. Go out on the net look up window tinting. There is all kinds of information. I think your Black Fusion would look great!

I'm really considering getting the rear and 2 back windows tinted. I was just unsure of how it will look. I will wait until spring to get it done though. Nice pics of your car, the tinting looks great. How much did it cost you and where did you get it done?

has anyone had trouble with there tint? I just got my 2.3 tinted today(5%) and had trouble with the two smaller rear passenger windows. There's a rubber molding that covers about 1/4 inches of the glass. well the tint shop said they can't remove that to tint the whole glass which leaves that bit of glass untinted. I think it looks wierd and was wondering if anyone else had or has the same issue or if someone can offer any suggestions
