My SE V6 just turned 5,000 miles and got her first oil change Friday. Updated ovservations:

1. The more I drive this car, the more I like it.
2. Still no squeaks or rattles--quiet as the proverbial church mouse.
3. No warranty issues yet.
4. Cannot get more than 25-26 avg. mpg out of this engine no matter how I drive.
5. Still get lots of stares and compliments.
6. Still haven't seen but one other one on the road since November 12th.
7. Really wish Ford would come out with some custom splash guards for this thing that looks decent.
8. Really miss my Sport Trac that I traded to the Fusion, but needed the better MPG due to driving more.
9. Need a spoiler on the back--will get one sometime soon.

Congrats Randy.

My Fusion just turn 2,000 Miles. No problems here. Hopefully in the near future I can get some nice rims. I cannot get better than 20 MPG city and 24 MPG Highway in Los Angeles metro traffic and freeways, too much stop and go. But my Fusion shines above on those long trips to Nevada where Highway MPG reach 27-29 MPG's. :D

I have about 5100 miles on my Black SEL V6. I still love the car! As a salesman, I trade my vehicles in every 2 years or so. I have the light stone Leather interior and I really wish I had the black leather, but I will keep what I have until the next model comes out. I changed my oil at the 3,000 mile mark and will do so every 3,000. I haven't had any issues or noises or rattles to speak of (little noise under the hood at the radiator fan) but no other problems. I really love the car alot and as I said, will more than likely get an 07. (my dealership has a ford, chrylser, jeep, dodge, lincoln-mercury, nissan, mazda, and porche dealership as well) so I will be looking into other vehicles from those makers as well. I really do love this car though!
