How many of you would like to see some companies actually produce some performance parts for the V-6

The 2.3L already has a ton of things in the mix, but the previous V6's haven't had too much(k&n and ???) except for the 2.5L Duratec. Since the 3.5L will be used in a few Ford vehicles, that might change. But as for the revised 3L that most people will get other then the 2.3L, will probably not see a whole lot. Look at the options for the 3.5L in Nissans for example, cams, stroker kits, exhaust, intakes, blowers, turbos, etc... Basically what I'm asking is who with a 3L would be interested in some of those performance options, and then maybe someone will see that there is an interest.

I thin the 3.0's are going to get overlooked, knowing that most of the platform are going to be the larger 3.5, and the 2.3...sadly.

Well, there's a ton of stuff out for the 3.0L Mazda6, so it'll mostly depend on how fast Ford deploys the 3.5. If it is going to be in every vehicle in a year or two, then yeah there will be less for the 3L, but if it is going to be a while, then who knows.

The 2.3L will definitely get the bulk of development, regardless.

Well from what i hear, no one knows for sure if there will be a SVT fusion. But, i did read in a motortrend mag that Ford is going to come out with a Fusion GT. I can only assume that it well be the 3.5 liter motor. Its got 250 hp and 240 lbs , so it should go pretty good. The tranny can hold up to 300 hp without modification. If they can get close to that then who need an SVT. That s really why i haven t got one just playin the waiting game. The 3.5 is suppose to be out late this year, so we ll see!!!!!

I second that, but it's hard to wait. Tested another one the other day. Hopefully the 3.5L + AWD  will see daylight.

Seen a spec sheet for the 3.5 at work...... Ford documentation says 260 hp @6000 rpm and 250 ft lbs @4000 rpm, rev limit 6700 rpm. Documentation was for a FWD Trans shift test but didn't specify for what vehicle.
