This may be a fluke, but the left front tire on the car was visibly low this morning. I checked and it only had 10psi in it, so it's the 2nd one to develop a leak. It could be that I just ran over some debris, but it could also be that these tires just don't hold up well to being driven aggressively. They are after all an all-season tire.

For those of you that drive a little "spirited" at times, make sure you check you tires pressure often.

Interesting...

I've hit 100mph only twice or so -- and have not had any issues. I don't like the tires at all, honestly. I cannot wait until I can replace them.

Swoop,
What is it that you don't like about the Pilots? Just curious. Boz

Well,

They havea great treadlife rating. That's nice for some. To me, they ride hard and they do not handle well. I believe that the stock setup on the Fusion would handle much better with a softer compound tire. I am looking at the Avon M500's for the replacement.

i spend most of my time on the highway above 100mph, and above 60 on local roads. i corner and brake hard and my tires squeak often during the corners. i keep my tires at 33 psi checking each month but it rarely drops below 32psi

one strange thing: after i took in to dealer for service, 3 of the tires were at 37 psi and one of them was at 34.5 psi

is is better to overinflate them like this?

im keeping my fingers crossed. if they fail, hopefully its before warranty

I am squealing the hell out of my Michelins so that I can replace them ASAP with something that has a more aggressive tread pattern.
