Hi Altivo and welcome to the Ford Fusion Club.Librarian, network administrator, technical documentation writer (retired now, thank goodness.) Living on a small farm with horses, dogs, cats, uninvited chickens, and last but far from least, my husband and partner of 40 years. Former owner of an Opel Kadette (not a good experience,) several VW bugs, a Geo Metro, a Jeep Cherokee, and a Ford Escape (the 2007 boxy carryall/SUV, not the current sleeker-looking version.) Have a 2022 Maverick XL on order, but no idea when it will actually be built for me. Meanwhile, I have a pretty decent 2016 Fusion SE FWD just purchased used.
Five days after purchase, the Fusion had a breakdown and is at the dealer for analysis, but I have faith it will be repaired and returned. Details on that are posted in another thread.
Thanks. I have confidence in my dealer. They have treated me well for at least 15 years so far. It was just a little surprising to have this pop up so quickly after the purchase. On the other hoof, it's probably better to know sooner than later. I may decide to look into buying an extended warranty if possible.Hi Altivo and welcome to the Ford Fusion Club.
