So I have a 2013 ford fusion that pulls to the left and to the right violently. Almost as if it shifts direction real quick slightly. This happens almost all the time from the 3-4 shift and 4 5 shift. I thought it was torque steer but it pulls in both directions. If I drive normal speeds its not as pronounced. Not sure what it is . It does not feel safe when driving at speed. What can cause this ?? I just checked my driver side rear shock mount and it is broken. I am going to replace tomorrow. Would a broken shock mount on the rear cause steering issues. I did notice it was kinda cocked inward. When it happens I am holding the steering wheel straight as can be and while still holding it straight it shifts direction slightly either right or left.
If the alignment is really out of whack can it cause this? aNY HELP IS APPRECIATED.
