I'm new here and I need honest opinions and feedback
I've got a 2013 Fusion 2.5 SE. Nothing fancy but in great shape. Key start and manual climate controls, 4 inch Sync screen.

Here's the deal: I want to add a remote start that uses the existing factory key fob. 12volt solutions sells a simple plug n play kit. 10 minute install, no cutting or splicing. After install, lock, unlock,lock on the fob, and the car should start.

Seems to good to be true. Anyone else have this one?
Does it work? Any other or better products out there?

Yes, they are really that easy. I like the lock/unlock/lock instead of the 3x lock for mine, which means a horn honk (after second lock).

While I didn't install mine (2015 SE 2.5), when I installed a dash cam I got well acquitted with the wiring. Make sure you have 2 programmed keys,

What brand remote start did you get? 12 vlot solutions or something else? Also read somewhere that the " remote start" option gets added to the system menu on the dashboard during installation. True?
