Looking forward to tech support, and sharing interests. I just bought my Fusion with about 180k. For $2500.
I work as a Cnc vertical mill machinist, and brake press operator for a large steel company here in Minnesota.
Cheers!

If you don't know when tranie and coolant were changed last do it now. There is NO tranie filter.
Change spark plugs and cabin air filter.
These fluids are only good for 30 thousand. They are a weak part of the fusion. You didn't say
but guessing it's a 2.5 motor that is supposed to be the best. Youtube has some good how-to videos.
Use ford fluid for coolant and tranie is the best.

Thank you Johnny. I will definitely replace those fluids, filters, and remove and renew the sparkplugs. As well as the engine (2.5L) air filter, pcv valve, and coil on plug wires.

The last Ford I owned (12 yr. ownership) was a '95 Thunderbird LX, (4.6L). I always use OEM parts. For engine oil I choose Mobile 1 full synthetic, and a MotorCraft filter.
Thanks for the link.
Cheers
Lee

Coil on plug, coil and boot remove and renew.

Pcv, oil separator, and hose assembly is located under intake manifold.
