Here is the link to the PDF download of the 2007 Fusion
http://www.blueovalnews.com/07docs/07.fusionorder.pdf

Summary:  Not too many changes - some exterior colors are gone (titanium green, charcoal beige, silver frost), interior colors remain the same, ABS still optional, side airbags now standard as is the perimiter alarm system, SEL Premium Package now standard on SEL.

Looks pretty much like a carry-over year except for the few items which are now standard.  But it is good to see the side airbags as standard equipment, ABS should also be standard.

Side airbags and alarm standard? I also noticed that an mp3 jack is also standard. That pisses me off more. Although maybe I could just get those parts and hook it up to my current deck, I'm sure Ford incorporated it into the aux jack. I noticed that titanium green will be gone, that means it was in production for only 1 year, I guess my car will be a little rare.

Did anyone else catch the Job2 options?  I just noticed it on page 1.  AWD, rear spoiler, satellite radio, DVD navigation.

Oh yeah, and the I4 SEL manual (my car) only accounts for about 0.9% of the total lineup mix.

Hmmm....pretty much the same thing as the 2006. No new additional colors either....infact they took 3 away! :? No V6 manual or the 3.5L. Great job Ford. Using the old theory to let sales sink then put the bigger motor and a manual in to boost sales when its too late :nono:

American car manufacturers are horribly managed. With $3/gal gas only an American auto maker would come out with a BIGGER truck and SUV. Did you actually think they'd make a smart decision with options? I also highly doubt you will ever see a manual with a V6 in the Fusion. Face it, Ford makes cars for the masses, not people who like to drive. If you want a Ford that you can drive, buy a Mazda.

The silver frost was my second choice for color, but in the end I went with black because I like the way that the darker colors contrast with the chrome accents. The light silver almost needs more black accents and less chrome...but I still think that color looks pretty sharp.

The silver clashed with the chromed grill.

I liked the Titanium Green that they cancelled, I have the Redfire but if I got another one just for
me that was one of the colors I wanted, but I think I'd get the Manual on that one, I don't like
black cars, or silver ones, the black is way too high maintenence for me, if it had separate clearcoat
it would be much better, but it and white are just one step paints, to keep cost down, but if they can
do clear on any other color why in the hell can't they do it with those colors, the black would look so much
deeper and richer if they did. and silver just looks plain just like white.

I guess if I got another one the Bluish Tungsten Silver is my next choice, I like the Redfire alot,
but I don't want two of the same cars. mine would be a manual, to keep my wife out of it for one
and to be able to play, I haven't had a stick shift in almost 10 years.

That is the Job 1 order guide so using it alone will not give you the full information. Job 2 will start soon after Job 1 (usually is mid year, but this time they're talking 4-6 weeks). At Job 2 they will add Silver Birch so they're just upgrading the silver, and they will also add Dark Amestheis(forgive my spelling) Also at Job 2 the MP3 jack will become standard. Other changes will include a fold down front passenger seat (like Five Hundred) and options of Nav system, AWD, and rear spoiler.

Also this is just a guess, but with Job 2 so early it is possible we could see Job 3 changes this year if Ford decides to add even more options.

:(  I have an SELV6 in the Silver Frost.  Kind of funny how they would not have this color in the line up since silver is a very popular color..??

Silver Birch will be added shortly after production starts. Most people prefer the Silver Birch color so this is an improvement, I just don't know why the month lag time on switching.

Alloy and Dark Amethest... The Dark Amythest will piss me off if it's a deep, dark purple...fuck.

That might end up being a pretty cool color.

It's the color I wanted...damn, shit... Oh well -- I like my blue. You can see the color on the new Lincoln Navigator page.

The 07 MKX on the Lincoln website has both the amethyst and alloy colors available for viewing, but the computer generated colors are hard to judge. The alloy appears more slate blue than I had imagined. The amethyst...hard to say if it is dark enough for my taste. At least it is better than the Ford purples of the past (remember the dreadful "Barney" Escorts?)
