Ok, so it seems the explorer forums are down for a day or so so I figured I would ask here. I am looking at a 1998 Explorer 5.0 V8 Limited AWD With all the options for 1998. Does anyone know what i should look out for or things I should stay away from? I test drove it and it seems solid and no major issues that I could see. Thanks.

my dads got a 96 explorer xlt v8 its got 160k miles and it still runs great it hasnt really had any probs aslong as it was maintaned well it should be fine

This one looks very well taken care of...... I got to drive it by myself so I gave it a good run and everthing seems good.. Engine/trans.

thats good just do regular maintence and it will serve you well if thats what u get
