Hi biggee. From the Owners Manual:

2.3L Engine Oil Capacity - 4.5 quarts/4.25 liters.

Oil Filter Part # (Ford) - FL-2017-B I do not know the part # for the Mobil 1 equivalent oil filter. However, just ask the store staff for the Mobil 1 equivalent of the Ford part #.

Also, as an FYI, the following information is also mentioned in the Owners Manual, concerning oil changes:

When changing oil filter you must also replace the filter cap O-ring. The
oil filter drain plug O-ring must also be replaced whenever the oil filter
drain plug is removed. Reuse of the O-rings may cause engine oil leakage
and may result in severe engine damage. The customer warranty may be
void for any damage to the engine if the O-rings are not replaced.

Hope this information helps.

Good luck.

Thanks BBF, I don't have my owners manual w/ me since I drive the explorer to work and I wanted to go out during lunch to get the oil. As for the O ring..is that the o ring on the oil filter theyre speaking of? If so..I've never seen an oil filter that didn't include the o ring.

The "O-Rings" comes with the filter, one for the cartridge housing and one for the cartridge housing drain plug. The fusion doesn't have a "Spin-on" oil filter, it is the cartridge type. If you choose to loosen the filter housing plug you'll need to replace that o-ring as well.
