AND its known to be a girls car so it'd be hard for me to drive it. Girls like the TC more than guys do. Mazda3 is a bit more masculine specially once its lowered it looks nice and wide.

the TC is a girls car around here, you rarely see one modded besides for wheels and some tint.

As a former MR2 owner, I do have to say that Toyota has the right idea in marketing TRD parts to the consumer from the dealer although recently most of the parts are just for looks and cater to the young crowd who are into visual mods and shift knobs.

ok first, dont hate on spec v's they are quick, fastest NA 2.5L in its price range, my bro just traded in his 07 spec v for a speed 3....and as for scion tc, i like em, but regardless that they have many options for them does not make them fast, honda has the widest selection of parts for their cars, but most of em are getting beat by my car lol...but you can make anything fast if your pockets are deep enough, i went to track the other day saw a rotarty 323 running low 10's i was laughing so hard but was fastest car on the track and it was a mazda baby

As a former owner of one of those POS's, I'll "hate" on them all I want.

Easily the most unreliable vehicle produced in the last decade 6-7 years.  Your brother's 2007 had the better, revised QR, but gawd damn they ugly.

+1 on the ugly and POS, but again the point being made is that any car with money can be made reliable, so once you go fully rebuilt custom, its a new world of shit talking then reliability, more like who's faster at the track now.

and everything you just said is oppinionated so its irrelavant...had the 02 spec v as well good car as well personally IMO handled and took off great for a 2.5L thought they were very good cars.

LOL, it's no "irrelevant" as we're discussing the Spec-V.  I guess your opinion that the 2002's were good cars should be irrelevant, too?  If anything, it made me LOL.

The 2002's were utter pieces of absolute crap.  Precat failure, butterfly screws, 2nd/3rd gear synchros, faulty headgaskets, ECUs, crank sensors, brittle piston rings, etc.

Yeah, the car was quite fun to drive.  Good low end torque around town so it felt much faster than it was.  I miss driving it, but I don't miss owning it.  Good riddance to that money pit POS.

no its irrelevant because you "owned" one made them POS cars, im guessing you didnt read consumer facts about the car, buyers info, or any of the sort that would easily say other wise, IMO the new 07's were done alot better cat failure's were huge, and end resulted with engines being blown from it, and the reason i meantioned about 02 spec v was to say i was able to compare the old with the new. Im sorry that you picked up a lemon sentra but im sure the spec v forum could mention a list of faulty mazda 3's and your talking to a guy with 3 new engines on 1 mazda, whose had every sensor replaced, air bag recall, wiring harness short recall....and i still love my mazda 3....the car was a good car IMO treated me well good power for the price, but then again if we want to continue this nissan conversation in a mazda forum feel free to PM me

raced a 2.0L sentra....uglyiest tail lights ever but then again i only saw em for 2 secs ;)

I've been active for years on B15 forums.  If you're trying to argue that I am somehow uninformed of the repair records for QR powered Sentras, I LOL @ you.

I've read all the reviews, reliability rankings, etc. for the Sentra.  Pick up a Consumer Reports or a JD Power reliability rankings for the 2002-2003/2004 and stand in awe at all the black circles  :morning:

Try this as an experiment.  Register at b15sentra.net and say that you're thinking about buying a 2002 Spec.  You'll soon realize that it's probably the only car in the world where 90% of previous owners wouldn't recommend it.  In fact, I believe you'll have dozens of people telling you to run away from it.

LOL, go ahead.  I know CR reports worse than average repair records for 2002 and 2003.  Additionally, if it were only the QR powered Sentras included (as opposed to QG's), it would be off the charts (in the wrong direction).

That's a preview based only on the driving experience.  I would have given it a good review if that was my only experience with it

It's cool that you like the cars, I liked driving mine.  However, they're (2002s especially) one of the most unreliable vehicles on the road, period.

I'd take a 10 year old Kia for sale at a salvage yard over a 2002 Spec-V.
