Automatic Climate Control System quits!

Anyone else have the whole climate control system suddenly stop working? Nothing, no fan, A/C, display, etc... This is on a '10 SEL with the auto climate control. It was a hot day Tuesday and the A/C had been working fine for my 45 minute drive home from work. I stopped at the store for maybe 15 minutes, came out, started the car, and nothing was working. Drove home that way. Shut car off, started it up again, and everything is now working fine, going on 3 days now.  Seems like a circuit breaker popped? Do they reset themselves? Before I take it to the dealer I'd like to know something about this problem. Sometimes they are clueless and need to be pointed in the right direction!

I have not experienced this but I have only had my 2010 SEL with auto
temp control for 2months.

  Hi 2010SEL.   It is just likely that no one has experienced this yet with a 2010.

  I experienced a slightly similar situation with my 2007 MKZ, but there was a TSB out by that time outlining the fix (bad circuit in the blower motor, replace the blower motor).  Would not surprise me if this is a similar situation (not making a diagnosis, just guessing).  You will probably save some time if you bring it in for diagnosis and service.

  Oftentimes, the Service Techs really are less clueless than us (as much as we may hate to admit it).
