Hey, I am Daven. I live in Phoenix, AZ and have been a life long ford owner.

And since I am 41 that means 6 Fords. First was an 88 Escort (a problem car) then a 92 Mustang 5.0 (my favorite before they changed the body style. then a Two Windstar vans and a 97 Explorer...then I saw THE LIGHT.

On April 19, 2009 I bought a 2009 Ford Fusion SE. The color was (forget the proper name) the sand stone color (Light beige) I really loved it. Everything ESPECIALLY SYNC! I vowed I would never sell it or trade it in. WELL....... That all changed yesterday.

I FELL IN LUST AND LOVE FOR A NEW ONE. I went in for my oil change (complementary) at my dealership (second oil change) and on the outdoor display there was a Fusion like I had never seen. Turns out it is the Monochrome package. It has the body color grill and 18 inch rims and low profile tires. GREAT COLOR too- DEEP BLUE. SO, I turned in my car for the new one. Paid the small difference (my first one was paid off) NOW I am the proud owner of a 2010 Ford Fusion SE-monochrome package. .

Any others here from this site that live in Phoenix, let me know if there are local meetings.

Name in the side bar? Click on profile at the top and that'll give you all of the options to customize your profile. To add a pic you can do it one of two ways. Use a photo hosting site like photobucket, or when you hit reply clock additional options at the bottom and it'll give you the option to insert a picture. Good luck..

I wish I had mine back. Mine was also the LX sedan 5 sp. BUT, Since I have Multiple Sclerosis and my left leg doesn't work so well I couldn't drive it anyway. Your fusion (in your profile picture) looks sharp.

I looked at the window sticker and it is indeed the sport blue. I wish I could my pic's on here but can't do it, I will email them to someone to do it for me as I said before.

Got home a few minutes ago from Scottsdale's Pavilions/ McDonalds Rock and Roll Car show. the longest lasting weekly car show at a near by shopping center. Normally it is FILLED with cars from every era, including new ones. Tonight- 5 cars there. I ended up sitting talking to a man with an 08 mustang GTCS. Nice guy.His wife has an 08 Fusion. I parked behind him in the row reserved for new sedans. I was the only one there, maybe more showed up after I left but it is over 100 here I and don't do well in the heat, so came home and jumped into my pool.

Forgot to say in my original post that I am having remote start and the windows tinted next week. Can't wait to get into an already cooled down car.

I wish I could post pic's. It now has 103 miles on it, boo hoo.

There ya go all. Thanks for Shansen for posting my pic's for me. I will figure out how to do it eventually. The windows get tinted on Tuesday and the remote start on the same day (hopefully)

nice, looks good in mono. sounds like you're really enjoying it, post more pics with the tint.

btw, set up a free account at photobucket, and upload your pics to your account. once you have done that, take a look at your album and hover your mouse over the picture you want to post here, and you'll see a pop up box below it with a code for posting the image in a forum - it says "IMG Code". just left click on that IMG Code to select it, then right click on it and "COPY" that entire code from that page. after that, come here to FFC, start a new post/reply, and right click and paste that code you copied into your message, and that's it! good luck!

Ok, it looks DAMN good now. Full limo tint on the back Windows and 35% on the drivers and front passenger Windows. They installed Avital remote start today, WOW!. totally awesome. Does anyone else have it? The only thing i don't like is now i have a separate key fob .

Well, Sunday will be my 1 month anniversary with my new Fusion. I LOVE IT so much. I just filled it for the first time. They gave me a full tank when I got it and I just had to put gas in it. I had forgotten about the capless fill system and gotta say I was a bit nervous filling it up, but it went great.

Between 2009 and 2010, they made SO many improvements, besides the new front end and bump in the hood, which I love, the trunk has a pull down strap to aid in the closing, the capless fill, they whole car is EXCELLENT! my friend who I have known for 30 years buys cars at the auctions and sells them on Ebay met with me for lunch yesterday, he only buy's BMW, Mercedes, all high end cars, he said my car rode like a BMW and is very quiet, he was SUPER impressed. He said he thinks Ford is going to give the high end makers runs for their money with the new Taures and this car. DAMN it feels good to get a review from him as he is normally conceeded about cars.

Still Loving the remote start and the tint is excellent. I am hoping to put my thin orange pin stripe on it next week.

Miles on it as of today, 348. (I don't drive that much, duh)
