I didn't think I had a chance against BBF and his beautiful ride, who is one of the most helpful and friendly persons on here, and rag with his impressive mod list who became such an active member in such a short time! Grats to both of you, you are both deserving of the award as evidenced by the voting!
I'd like to say thanks to the awesome people in this forum, I've been an active member of the DSM community and the Focus community previously, but here at FFC it feels more like a family than any other forum I've been a part of! To be recognized by your peers is the greatest honor you can receive, so this to me is extremely special and something I will be proud of forever!
A special shout to whoever nominated my ride and voted for me, if you ever feel like identifying yourself here or by PM I'd love to hear from you! "Blade" aka "Gillette" (as I affectionately call him, since the front looks so much like a razor blade!) is a work in progress... I'm trying hard to do something unique and you can tell I like a clean, European sport sedan look. I love my Passat 1.8 Turbo, but this Fusion is by far my favorite vehicle ever!
My next plans (some are still subject to wifey approval...
):
- SEL chrome foglight covers are being ordered this week (got an idea for them that hasn't been done yet, hope ya'll will like it...)
- Thin coat of VHT Niteshade on tail lamps and sidemarkers
- Either black chrome SAP grills to match my black chrome rims, or I'm gonna VHT 'em to get the same look
- Paint calipers black
- Black Ford Emblems from PatriotDecals.com
- Led interior footwell lights and leds in cupholders (going for the look of the ambient lighting option)
- DV engine cover
- daBears 6000K HIDs
- Shaved trunk emblem
a little later:
- Pioneer Avic D3 unit with Infinity Basslink and speaker upgrade
- Steeda cold air intake and SCT tunes
- Dual Magnaflow catback exhaust system
- possibly 3D Carbon side skirts, and an SAP spoiler... not sure about this yet, kind of like the clean look it has right now...
As you could see I haven't done anything regarding performance yet, but really this car is so much more powerful and fun to drive than anything I've ever owned, so I haven't felt the need to add more HP yet... that's just a matter of time, however! Lol
