Ask the dealer how much they charge using their plugs and how much if you bring your own. Some shops charge a higher hourly rate when you bring your own parts.
I've don't this several times on my Lincoln LS. It's the same 3.0 engine just facing the proper way, front to back. It seems harder than it actually is and will be easier not having to work against the firewall but the engine is horizontally opposed in the fusion making for easier access.
