I'm not necessarily selling the Fusion, but there is a chance once winter or next spring rolls around I entertain the possibility. With a new job and all I'll have more money coming in and I'd prefer to have a "fun" car. Than again, who knows what can happen in a 6-12 month period.

Some criteria I'm looking at:

I'm looking at something $10,000 or less
RWD or AWD
Manual
"Newer" year
Not picky on a sedan or coupe at this point
I would prefer an only summer vehicle, but depending on the selection (i.e. a WRX) I'd consider just getting one vehicle for summer/winter.

Obviously this leaves a lot of possibilities out there...and that's exactly my point. Let's see what you guys have!

The thing that makes me love the talon so much is the offset center panel. I love how its built to face the driver, so unique and cool!!

Sky's might look a little gay but I have massive respect for those, they can haul ass if they need to and they are quite good in the corners from what I have heard.

I completely disagree. I think they are WAY more masculine than the Solstice. At any rate, i'd take one over a Miata! That's for sure! :p

The Solstice is complete gay  But I can still full on respect it, I would rock a Sky if one was given to me, it wouldn't at all buy one many more cars in line in front of it.

And this:

There is something seriously wrong with you if you actually believe that.

95-97 Thunderbird 4.6 V8 w/ 5 spd (not easy to find)
there never was a 95-97 v8 5 spd only the 95 3.8 s/c had a manual. i wish they had a 5 spd i loved my 4.6 t-bird.

the only car to see a v8 and 5 spd was the infamous sve/svt thunderbird that had a 32valve suparcharged v8 with tremec 5 sp (cobra drive train). however they were crushed like all prototype cars.
wow I can't believe I was wrong. This explains why this guy who had a 97 T-bird when I was in HS, when we turned 16 he kept saying I bought a T-bird but the trans is messed up. Well I rode in it when he got it back from the shop and it was a 5 speed with a 4.6. He said, they're super rare blah blah so that was my whole basis of suggesting the 96-97 birds. He tricked me!!! and I know a good lil bit about cars, more 60's & 70's Muscle Cars but there goes 12 years of belief!!!!

But wouldn't it be sweet if they did like this swapped 5 speed 97 Bird (SKIP TO :30 mark)

The fact the WRX is AWD is what really gets me thinking. Depending how money looks next spring or summer will play the biggest role. If I have enough cash to start looking at a second car I'd easily go that route and probably skip over getting a WRX. However, if that's not the case a WRX is somewhat high on my list right now.

Honestly, I doubt you will have any problems with a WRX. The main problem they have is 2nd gear going out. That is usually caused by people putting down a lot of power, or launching it (or both). Just make sure not to launch AWD on dry pavement, that car has way too much power and traction to launch without putting insane amounts of stress on the powertrain. But, I think it'd be a fun car for you.

Just know you will be paying out your a$$ to keep that thing running if it starts to break down. Personally if I were to get an Audi it would have to be under warranty, as soon as it drops off warranty I would drop it. But that's just me, I mean they are sexy as heck.

I'm with Kenny on this one. Audis are sweet cars, but to keep them on the road can be pricey!

He's spent over $600 on it in the past 2 weeks :) But seriously, he has an 01 VW GTI, and everytime I talk to him, there are more parts he needs. He needs a new glove box, shift boot/knob, antenna unit, weather stripping, oil drain plug, and his brakes still aren't working properly. There's a ton of other little stuff that he'll start replacing as he makes more money.
