Hey gang,

Regarding just what the title says.....give me your thoughts/opinions on the new design from Honda. Would you buy? Yes or No and why?

Regards,

Truckin :)

Eww Dodge/Chrysler! I drove a Charger last year, and I hated it. It felt like I was driving a freaking aircraft carrier. I found the visibility was appalling too. My wife's sister's ex has a Sebring. I think its a 2008. Outside it looks nice, but when I got in to it, everything looked too plastic-y. I know that there are a lot of plastics used in cars, but this Sebring was just way too obvious. Felt really cheap.

My last experience with Ford sucked, so I'm willing to give Chrysler a chance. As far as your complaints, the 200/Avenger models have been fully reworked for 2011. Read the Edmunds reviews if you're curious. Not to mention the Pentastar V6 smokes the V6's offered by Ford or Chevy.

The Charger is cool because it's 370 hp and RWD. Screw visibility

Too bad you can't take the parts that you like from each car and build a franken-car!

You're telling me

I bought what I thought was the best compromise with my Outback. Tons of room, MT, great gas mileage, etc. Now I realize that I require something that doesn't handle like a whale in a lazy river. If my wife decides that "one is enough" with regards to children, I'll probably get a little subcompact and enjoy gocart type handling for a while.

Who really knows what the hell I'll end up with. I'm flip flopping worse than John Kerry.

While hatches can be gloriously practical (even I can see the appeal, and this is knowing that the wiper controls for a hatch are a PITA for me) there's just something about having an enclosed trunk that appeals to me, call me weird if you must.

Seat covers? Interlgos plaid is sexy, why cover them up?
Just to protect them is all no other reason. Not for looks or anything...scared that my wife might spill something on them that I won't be able to get out etc. I have a front set coming for right now if I like them I will order the rear as well.

Regards,

Truckin :)

You're weird.

There are certainly pluses to both body styles. For me, though, having a hatch/wagon makes Home Depot runs and hauling the dogs around so much easier.

Nah but I've seen too many rear end collisions and my dad owned a Pinto back in the day so... yeah :p

Remember the Chev Celebrity Eurosport? rear facing seats in crumple zone... LOL
My parents old station wagon (Pontiac 6000 wagon) had the rear seats. Was always cool looking out the back window as we ripped down the highway. But now that I'm older and know more about cars and stuff, that was such a dangerous place to sit.
