Wow! Actually looks good, I was expecting to write in a negative response when I saw buick. Nothing about their quality, just their nameplate being associated with the older crowd. This one targeted to younger buyers now? I swear, those who purchase new buicks have to have an average age of at least 60. Not trying to discriminate against the older folks, but the designs just never have look appealing to younger consumers. Hm, I'd like to see how this one sells...they did a great job though!

They are trying to get the younger image to the cars... But all in all.... It's still a Buick

I'm locked into FORD as it's a Company Car but if I had my choice, I would be looking long and hard at a few of the new GMs to include the LaCrosse by Buick. Now that GM has their backs against the wall, they are responding with some nice looking stuff and solid guarantees, like the two month trial ownership. I'd buy a LaCrosse on looks alone...

Yeah... I can't see anywhere where that spoiler was added in the cost. This was a dealer transfer, so maybe the OD put it on. Whatever... I like it. :p

I traded off my '08 Fusion SE V6. I don't drive 'hard', so I can't give a performance report... but I will say if you need to get up to speed quickly, the car happily obliges. I'm at 2,500 miles now, and the computer says 25MPG, which is getting close to what the Fusion gave me (27-28+ depending on the season).

I want one but I also would love to have a 2011 Regal Grand Sport too, first.
No doubt about it that these new Buicks will really sell well though. Throw in a few new SUVs from GM and a remade Pontiac G8 under a Chevrolet badge and hellooooooo General Motors!

Ford definitely needs to seriously revamp it's SUVs and soon. They are lagging behind badly in that category. If it weren't for the Fusion platform and cousins, FORD would be hurting right now. Still don't see many (if any) new Tauruses on the road. Don't know where they all are, being they claim they are selling well. The Taurus sighting is a rare bird on the road.

Nice video post. Nice color too!

I've finally started seeing them (besides mine) in the San Antonio area. Not as many as I would've thought, but some. Other day we had it in to the dealer for something and the 'porter' brought it around front and said, "Man, that's a NICE car". He's been working there since forever, but acted like it was the first one he'd ever seen.

Yeah, the Regal Sport looks like it could be a real Fusion killer.. :(

Local dealer(s) just brought in the Regals yesterday... so I walked down the street to see one. They aren't building much in the way of options yet... they're pretty well loaded. It looks a lot better in person than in pics. With the exception of the trunk lid opening cutting down the side at an angle (thereby visible from the side), it's a very fine looking car. Sticker on the one I saw was $27K plus, which may be a bit high for the class, but they'll sell a bunch of 'em to folks that want Buick 'luxury' but not enough to load up a LaCrosse. Salesman that drove it here from Houston said it doesn't have the blind spot problem that the LaCrosse does (and Taurus to a lesser extent). I love my Taurus... but just looking in person without driving it, I think I might've gone with the Regal had it been out a few months ago. Not overly impressed with GM, but they really make a nice Buick interior.

Say what you will about Buick being an old man's car, but don't forget that back in 1987 a certain Buick OWNED the streets as the fastest American made car that year. The Grand National and GNX have always been on my dream list :irock:
