After I wash my car, dust collects right away on the car. Is there a way to wash it differently so it doesnt happen?? Or is there a way to remove static from the car, so it doesnt collect on the car.
Unfortunately no, there is no way to wash the car or "remove the static". And the darker the paint color of your car, the more obvious the dust, pollen and other airborne contaminants will be.
The only reasonable alternatives that will keep dust from collecting on your car is park in a garage or use a car cover.
If you can't do that, then as TU stated your best bet is to purchase a "California Car Duster" or another quality alternative and dust it when necessary. Don't go cheap. I have a California Car Duster in the trunk of each of my cars.
I also find it very helpful to dust the car in the early evening before letting the car sit for the night. In this way, if you live in an area where dew forms overnight on your cars finish, there is less dust to mix with the dew and the finish stays cleaner overnight into the morning.
Also, follow the instructions. The Cal Car Duster is not for cleaning very dirty or soiled cars. It is simply for dusting
But again, there is no special treatment you can do to prevent dust and other airborne contamination from settling on your car. Just parking in a garage or a car cover.
