So my Fusion has been throwing a p2196 code for sometime now. I've erased the code and even replaced the upstream o2 sensor. After I replaced the sensor and erased the code, it came back on later that day. 2010 Fusion 2.5L. Please Help:shocked:
Thanks for the reply. It seems that this subject tends to scare some folks on account of it having over 80 views and only one reply haha. Anyways, I don't think its a bad injector because I'm still maintaining good gas mileage. No rough idle either. I ordered a new vapor purge valve to see if does the trick. :0
If you have a smartphone, get a bluetooth obd adapter and the app Torque. You can data log and see if the sensor is working, could be a bad harness or connection too.
