I couldn't find a thread specifically discussing this issue, but I did find some sporadic threads here and on some other forums mentioning it among other transmission related discussion.
The issue I would like to call attention to is the rough 2-3 shift. I have a 2013 AWD 2.0T with 18,7xx miles with a rough 2 - 3 shift. At light acceleration the jolt is felt more than at moderate or aggressive inputs. I don't think there's slip, but if there is its very little, but instead a jerky shift. I have never owned a single car with a transmission that did this and I know its not normal. All the other gear changes are fine, but the 2 - 3 more often than not is abnormal.
The reading I have done has lead me to believe there is a PCM update for this problem, not necessarily when it occurs between 2nd and 3rd gear. Also, I have not been able to find a TSB specifically addressing this issue.
Also noticed a shudder when changing from Reverse to Drive quickly and giving the car gas without pausing a moment. I know this isnt good practice, but during quick K turns its unavoidable and I have never experienced this either on any car I have ever owned.
Is this something you are experiencing, have experienced or resolved?
I have made a poll to get an idea. Please post your experience as well.
