P1000 is a general issue code. It presents its self after someone has just cleared freeze frame data and dtc's. its normal for now. it'll go away naturally after about 50 ish drive cycles.
yes, a p0430 is a catalyst code, looks like your going to be need a converter.
Thanks for the help. That CAT isn't cheap! What type of harm is being done to the car if i delay replacing the cat. What are the long term issues? Thanks
P0430 is pre-cat inefficiency in one of the headers. Typically emissions testing is really the only thing that's going to affect. I used to be able to run some Berryman B-12 Chemtool Fuel System Cleaner in a tank of gas to get rid of that code for a while in my old car.
