thanks for the post dude my exhaust will be here in a few days :dance2:

No problem, in a few days... you'll have a smile from ear to ear once you'll install the exhaust! :)

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

I think I like it!

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

Sticky.. Yay! haha

I'm sure I'll have better results once I'll buy the XCal2 and bring up the rev limiter to a higher point.

...There is no sure way of showing you or letting you hear how exactly the exhaust sounds unless you were to sit with me in the car. All I know is that I 100% don't regret I got it done.
I was told by quite a few different people that now it sounds alot like a mustang GT... but again, with a rev limiter.

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

I don't know if it's just your camera, but mine seems to have alot more resonance in the cab when I drive than what I am hearing on your video.

Then again I've had mine for more than a month and maybe mine has "settled" as some have said it would.

I dig the resonance in the cab, it kinda gives it a muscle car feel...

I think what you hear from my videos is very close to what you'd hear if you were sitting in my car... well, pretty close.
And as far as the muscle car sound.. I definitely dig that.. that's the exact sounds I was hoping to get out of it..

And yes, it does take some time for the exhaust to be "broken in"... and it has been getting louder ever since I got it installed.

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

I will not dig resonance in the cab... eek. Sounds good outside, but I wouldn't want it loud inside. Crap.

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

It's not so loud its annoying, its jut louder than the stock exhaust.

It grows on you...

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

Swoop, hold your horses.... no worries mate... the resonance is there only if you want to be. By that I mean it depends on how you gas it. If you drive calmly and at the speed limits... you'll barely if at all will hear any resonance...
... trust me, I was the same way, I didn't want to get my ears plugged every time I'd get on the freeway... and you know what I don't... as stated in the video... if going 65-70mph .... with the normal 2k RPM ... you won't hear one bit of that exhaust.

And as WiKDMoNKY stated, the resonance is not the annoying kind, and it doesn't sound like a shit hole... in a matter of fact it produces a pretty damn sexy sound... for which reason I accelerate to any desired speed as fast as the fusion can... just so i can drool for that one moment as to how sexy my baby sounds!!

you gotta hear it in person to believe it!!

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

Man there must be something wrong with my Magnaflows....I have lots of resinance in the cab with mine, yours sound just right RUSSIAN!
It's real bad at about 40 mph or so........

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

No it is not the stock exhaust , i dont know about the power increase but from what people say they all have seemed to like it it is prolly somewhere from 5-15 hp add , if you want you can remove your air silencer to get more sound and better response.

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

that sounds fantastic man! I thought it was gonna sound more like a g35 or z but it sounds pretty muscular, i'm impressed!

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

My Magnaflow should be by the 30th. I have a friend of mine with a pit in his garage. If all goes well, I'll post before, during and after pictures of the install.

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

My Magnaflow muffler came in yesterday. I'll be putting it in today after work. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures during the install.

I can't wait to hear this bad boy roar!!!!

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

sweet, Bass!!
My personal recommendation would be to do the bold on and also get it welded.
Best of luck with the install!

Re: Various Movies of my Magnaflow Exhaust

Thanks man. It's all hooked up now and sounds killer. I couldn't really take any install pictures due to the pit n the garage being really small.

I love the new growl. 8)

I use "GP Thunder 8000K" HID lights for my low beams and my fog lights.
