Where is the Fuse Box Located . . .

. . . on the '07 Mercury Milan? I think fuse F15 (to the Cigar Lighter) is blown and I'd like to replace it if it is. Is this, as I assume, the only "power piont" this car has? Thanks, in advance!

Re: Where is the Fuse Box Located . . .

This may prove to be worthless...

In the Fusion the fuse box is located above the airbox (right side of the engine in a black box).

If that's where it is, then GREAT! I ask because (1) the dealership I went to wouldnt even take the time to tell or show me, (2) I got the impression (from where, I dont know) the black box you're referring to is some kind of a power distribution center, and not a simple fuse box, and (3) I'm used to the old or pick-up truck location of kinda under the dashboard near the driver's left foot.

I'll check it out!

For me that's where all the fuses are located so that's why I'm thinking it should be in the same location for the Milan.

Hi texas. There are two fuse boxes, one in the passenger compartment, on the drivers side, under the dash to the left of the steering wheel ("near the drivers left foot&quot. The other is in the engine compartment. There are diagrams and charts in the Owners Manual outlining the approximate locations and fuse numbers.

Hope this information helps.

Good luck.

Re: Where is the Fuse Box Located . . .

I found the fuse box tucked up under the dash. Found the fried fuse, replaced it, and the auxillary power point (right behind - or in front of - the shift) now works!

Hi texas. You can download a PDF version of your Owners Manual here: www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

Fill in the drop-downs and click "Submit". Then click "Owners Guide". As you will see, you can also download PDF versions of other Guides for your car.

The PDF versions come in very handy. I actually use them more than the hard copies.

Good luck.

And it is search-able - a great "tool" for finding what's hidden in the manual.
